Agape Sverige är en del av Campus Crusade for Christ "CCCI". CCCI grundades 1951 av Bill & Vonette Bright. År 2012 arbetade 24000 personer heltid och över 250.000 tränade frivilliga inom CCCI, i 191 länder. I Europa går CCCI under namnet Agape Europa, i Sverige heter vi Agape Sverige (SVERIGE FÖR KRISTUS) Agape Sverige bildades år 1975.
År 2012 gjorde CCCI.org namnändring till cru.org
